Beyond the third figure, there is a teenage boy looking towards the front of the painting (the opposite end of the opposite side of the table). He has dark brown hair and about three-fourths of his face is showing. The top of his hair and the edge of his forehead are highlighted from the reflection of the light coming in through the window. The teenager’s mouth is open and his top teeth are showing, forming a smile with his cheeks drawn back. His eyes are squinting, which emphasizes the smile. Beyond the teenager is a young girl’s face leaning forward and looking down the row of seats on her side of the table toward the opposite end. Her hair is light brown, and centered down the top of her head is a part splitting her hair into two directions. Her skin is fair and her cheeks are slightly rosy.

In the far right third of the painting, in the foreground, there is a man’s face cropped from the bottom of the nose down and the center of the cheek back. The man is peering out of the far left corners of his eyes, and it looks as though he is looking directly up at the viewer. There is a shadow beneath his eyes because the rest of his head is blocking the light that is coming in from the window. His eyebrows are slightly raised and are brown. His hair is a brown-red color, and the top of his head is highlighted by the light coming in from the window. Beyond this man is an elderly woman with grey-white hair and wrinkles around the top and bottom of her eyes. Her face is in profile, and her cheeks are drawn back in a smiling position. She is looking directly across the table, and her skin has a pale tone. Beyond the elderly woman is a younger woman looking diagonally to her left across the table, making eye contact with the second figure from the foreground, on the far left third of the painting. The woman has dark brown hair that is lightly highlighted on the top. The highlights go down the edge of her face closest to the window. She has white teeth that are showing through her smile, along with a defined dimple on her left cheek. Beyond the woman is a profile of a head, but his face is blocked by the woman in front of him. His hair is red-orange, and is parted on the left side of his head. The very top of his ear is showing behind the woman’s hair in front of him, and his forehead is highlighted by the sunlight seeping in through the window to his right. His hands are placed on the table along each side of his plate.

In the middle third of this painting, there is a table taking up the bottom half of the painting. In front of each person there is a plate, silverware, and a glass of water on the table. In the foreground, there is a plate of fruit, with apples, grapes, and pears. The fruit has an orange, red, brown and yellow color theme, and is piled on top of more fruit. Behind the fruit is a white pot/container with ripples coming down in diagonal lines from the center of the cover where the handle lies. The top of the pot is has darker highlights reflecting the ceiling, followed by lighter highlights reflecting the window light, followed by a medium tone of grey reflecting the walls. Beyond the pot there is a small plate about half the size of the other normal plates. On top of the plate is a maroon cylinder-shaped object that is shiny and reflecting a lot of the window’s light on top. Beyond the small plate is a longer plate that is oval shaped, and has long, thick green stems with darker green leaves coming out of the far end. The stems are almost white from reflecting a large portion of light from the window, but still have a faded green tent. Behind the oval plate is a smaller, round plate, that has dark brown oval-shaped food on top. Next to the brown food are two silver salt and pepper shakers. The right silver container is slightly in front of the left. They are both reflecting the light bouncing off of the table as well as the light coming directly in through the window. Next to the salt and pepper shakers is a clear glass of water that is slightly taller than the salt and pepper shakers. Through the glass of water, something orange colored is in sight, slightly distorted from the bend in the glass, but half of it is sticking out to the left behind the glass. The orange colored object is inside a cup with a small handle that sticks straight out to the left and could fit about two fingers through it. Beyond these objects is a space for the turkey to be set. Above this space is a large white plate that takes up about a third of the table in width. On top of the plate is a huge turkey that takes up the entire plate. The turkey is about a head tall, and the bottom half is light brown while the top half is a darker brown color. Above the turkey is a woman standing up, holding the turkey. She is leaning slightly forward, looking down at the turkey. She is wearing a blue short sleeve shirt with white print and white lace along the bottom of the sleeves. She is wearing a white apron over her blue shirt, and it has ruffles down the sides. Her hair is pulled back, and is grey with bright highlights reflecting the window light. She is wearing glasses, and her mouth is shut, but pulled slightly back in a small smile. Right behind her, there is a man standing up in a dark suit with his right hand lightly on the table, only his fingertips are directly touching the table cloth. He is wearing a white or cream collared shirt under his suit, with a dark brown or black tie. He is looking down at the turkey over the woman’s shoulder, and he is smiling. His face is a darker tone than the woman’s, and his hair is grey with reflections on the sides from the window light directly behind him. The man has a lot of contrasting colors, and therefore stands out. His black suit against the white window drapes with bright light coming in through them gives a focal point to the painting.

The entire room is lit from the window light, and possibly an indoor light above them. The main color theme throughout the entire painting is white in the central area, and brown, orange, red and yellow along the outer edge. Contrasting the color theme, the main man and woman who are standing up, holding the turkey, are different colors, blue and black (along with the other colors from the color theme). This makes them stand out the most from the painting because they have different colors against the main source of light coming from outside the window which is directly behind them. The window is slightly narrower than the table, and has white, translucent window drapes that are drawn back to each side of the window, allowing light to pour in. The man standing up is lined up directly in the center of this window, blocking the main light, which makes the light reflect on his back and edges, creating a brightness around him. Along the left and right side of the window is wallpaper. The wallpaper is a faded green with some faded blue print leaves and flowers. On the right side of the window there is a picture frame that has about three-fourths of it missing because the painting ends. Right at the man standing up’s right elbow, and the woman holding the turkey’s left elbow, there is a white strip along the wall that draws the viewer’s eye to the table, and since the table is white, the viewer’s eye is drawn to the people’s faces and the fruit in the front, and the turkey in the back, which leads directly back to the focal point of the man and the woman standing up!
